Why are proteins so important?
Without enzymes (proteins), neither humans, animals nor plants can survive, since almost every process in our body depends on enzymes. We are passionate athletes and pay special attention to the diet. Sure, even green smoothies and superfoods contain proteins, and in general we consume a lot of proteins through daily meals. But it is crucial for our organism which protein we eat in which amount and how our body can process this protein. There are countless studies on this. In times of the vegetarian-vegan movement, it is usually analyzed whether animal or vegetable protein is to be used more efficiently or whether animal protein is necessary at all. Protein powder was, and is still today, primarily associated with weight training or muscle. But by now, almost everyone knows that our bodies, regardless of physical activity, need proteins to survive.
